Cherry Conquers the Tricky Triangle!

With the playoffs kicking off at Pocono, 12 drivers desperately desired the victory to lock themselves into the Final 6 race at Kansas in just under four weeks time. A spoilermaker outside of the playoffs had other plans as Matt Cherry grabbed his first victory this season in the Truck Series. Cherry dominated the race leading a race high 35/82 laps while finishing P4 in the Stage. Pocono brought the action with nine different leaders throughout the race along with 14 lead changes while 14 cautions flew sending the race to a caution/checkered flag finish. Sam Green nabbed his first stage win on the season while also capturing the pole and leading a second-best 16 laps at the tricky triangle. The second race of the playoffs sees the field head south in the Appalachian region down to Richmond for the Turkey Trot 114.
