JCOMM driver Sawyer Ott cashes out in Vegas with a walk off victory! The eldest Ott brother did exactly what he had to do after a rough start to round 1 of the playoffs, and that was win. After starting 16th and gaining zero stage points, Sawyer Ott found himself in a must win situation to keep his playoff hopes alive. Taking the lead late and battling with Storm Patterson, who would end up finishing second, Ott led 21 circuits en route to his 2nd win of the ITRL Fort Worth Premier Series season, 5th career Premier win, and 16th overall ITRL win! That makes 2 consecutive seasons with multiple wins. Treston Ott would round out the podium with Dave Matson capturing the Haulin’ Ass Pole Award and the Stage 1 win, Josh Ball won Stage 2. With the win, Sawyer Ott joins Josh Ball and Brandon Pamatat as round 1 winners, Sean Boundy, Roger Diebold, Josh Culley, Storm Patterson and Matt Quick move on to the round of 8 as we hit the Milwaukee Mile, Sonoma, and Nashville over the next 3 weeks to see who will secure a final 4 spot for the ITRL Premier Series championship race in Chicago!
